Baked Tart Apples With Sugar Syrup
Ingredients
- tart apples
- sugar
- water
Method
- 1 Pare and core the tart apples without breaking them.
- 2 Place apples in a shallow earthen dish and fill the cavities with sugar.
- 3 Add water to cover the bottom of the dish.
- 4 Bake in a quick oven (425°F) until soft, basting often with the syrup.
