Baked Sweet Potato Pudding With Cinnamon
Ingredients
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 3 tablespoons shortening
- 2 cups mashed sweet potato
- 1 ¼ cups milk
- 1 large egg, beaten
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon cinnamon
Method
- 1 Cream together the brown sugar and shortening until well combined.
- 2 Add the mashed sweet potato, milk, beaten egg, salt, and cinnamon. Beat thoroughly to mix.
- 3 Pour the mixture into a baking dish and bake in a moderate oven (350°F) for 35 minutes.
