Baked Stuffed Tomatoes

Ingredients

  • 6 tomatoes
  • 2 cups soft bread crumbs
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 tablespoon butter

Method

  1. 1 Wash tomatoes and cut off the stem ends. Scoop out the pulp from the center.
  2. 2 Season the bread crumbs with salt and pepper. Fill the hollowed tomatoes with the mixture.
  3. 3 Place a small piece of butter on top of each stuffed tomato.
  4. 4 Bake in a 425°F oven for 30 minutes.
