Baked Stuffed Tomatoes
Ingredients
- 6 tomatoes
- 2 cups soft bread crumbs
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- 1 tablespoon butter
Method
- 1 Wash tomatoes and cut off the stem ends. Scoop out the pulp from the center.
- 2 Season the bread crumbs with salt and pepper. Fill the hollowed tomatoes with the mixture.
- 3 Place a small piece of butter on top of each stuffed tomato.
- 4 Bake in a 425°F oven for 30 minutes.
