Baked Spiced Apples With Cream
Ingredients
- 6 large sour apples
- 1 cup sugar
- ½ tsp mixed ground spice
- 1/8 tsp salt
- 2 tbsp grated cracker crumbs
- 2 tbsp milk or water
- Sweetened cream for serving
Method
- 1 Peel and core six large sour apples.
- 2 Mix sugar, spice, salt, cracker crumbs, and milk or water.
- 3 Fill the apple cores with the mixture.
- 4 Place apples in a pan and bake until tender.
- 5 Serve hot or cold with sweetened cream.
