Baked Spaghetti With Cheese Crust
Ingredients
- 1 ½ cups hot milk
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 tablespoon flour
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 2/3 cup fine cracker crumbs
- 1/3 cup melted butter
- ½ cup dry cheese
Method
- 1 Make white sauce: whisk butter and flour into hot milk with salt until thickened.
- 2 Mix cracker crumbs with melted butter.
- 3 Layer cooked spaghetti in a dish, cover with white sauce and cheese, sprinkle with crumb mixture, and bake until golden.
