Baked Spaghetti And Egg Casserole
Ingredients
- 4 ounces spaghetti
- 4 eggs, lightly beaten
- Dash nutmeg, optional
- 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/8 teaspoon salt, optional
- 2/3 cup shredded cheese
- 1 cup frozen peas, thawed
Method
- 1 Preheat oven to 350°F. Cook spaghetti according to package directions, then drain.
- 2 Place cooked spaghetti in a 9-inch pie plate sprayed with nonstick cooking spray.
- 3 Combine eggs, nutmeg, pepper, salt, cheese, and peas. Spread over spaghetti so it covers the top and sinks between strands.
- 4 Bake for 20 minutes or until a knife inserted near the center comes out clean.
- 5 Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
