Baked Soft Pretzels
Ingredients
- 1/2 teaspoon dry yeast
- 1 cup warm water
- 1 teaspoon honey
- 1 1/3 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
Method
- 1 Preheat oven to 425°F.
- 2 In a small bowl, dissolve yeast in warm water, add honey, and let sit for a few minutes.
- 3 In a large bowl, combine flour and salt.
- 4 Add yeast mixture to flour and stir until a smooth ball forms, adding a little more flour if sticky.
- 5 Knead dough on a surface until smooth, adding flour if needed.
- 6 Divide dough into 12 pieces. Roll each into a snake and twist into pretzel or other shapes.
- 7 Place on a sprayed baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes until golden brown.
