Baked Scalloped Corn With Tomatoes
Ingredients
- corn kernels from the cob
- sliced tomatoes
- salt and pepper
- rich milk
- a little soda
Method
- 1 Cut corn from the cob and spread a layer in a baking dish. Season with salt and pepper.
- 2 Add a layer of sliced tomatoes and season. Repeat alternating layers of corn and tomatoes until the dish is nearly full.
- 3 Dissolve a little soda in rich milk and pour over the layers.
- 4 Bake for one hour until heated through and bubbly.
