Baked Salmon With Tomato Onion Gravy
Ingredients
- 1 small cleaned salmon
- Olive oil
- Salt and pepper
- 1 cup boiling water
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1+ tsp cornstarch
- Cold water
- Grated onion
- Lemon juice
- Tomato catsup
Method
- 1 Rub salmon with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Place in a buttered baking pan.
- 2 Add 1 cup boiling water and 2 tbsp butter to the pan. Bake, basting every 10 minutes, until done.
- 3 Remove salmon and keep warm. Thicken pan juices with cornstarch mixed with cold water.
- 4 Season the gravy with grated onion, lemon juice, and tomato catsup. Serve over fish.
