Baked Salmon With Cream Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 can salmon (or 1 lb fresh fish, cooked and deboned)
  • 1 quart milk
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup butter
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup bread crumbs
  • ½ cup grated cheese
  • 1 onion
  • 1 bunch parsley
  • 2 bay leaves
  • Salt to taste
  • Cayenne pepper to taste

Method

  1. 1 Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. 2 Boil milk with onion, parsley, and bay leaves; strain.
  3. 3 Whisk flour into cold milk, then add butter and eggs to the warm milk.
  4. 4 Layer fish and sauce in a baking dish, ending with sauce on top.
  5. 5 Top with bread crumbs and cheese.
  6. 6 Bake for 20 minutes until golden.
