Baked Salmon And Bread Crumb Casserole
Ingredients
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 cup bread crumbs
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 can flaked salmon
- 2 eggs, well-beaten
- Butter for dotting
- Minced parsley for garnish
Method
- 1 Chop the onion and fry it in butter until softened.
- 2 Stir in bread crumbs and milk; bring to a boil.
- 3 Season with salt and pepper, then add flaked salmon and beaten eggs.
- 4 Pour into a buttered casserole, dot with butter, and bake at 350°F until browned.
- 5 Sprinkle with minced parsley and serve hot.
