Baked Rice Cakes
Ingredients
- 2 cups boiled rice
- 2 tablespoons cold milk
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup flour
- Butter for serving
Method
- 1 In a bowl, mix the boiled rice, cold milk, salt, and flour until a dough forms that holds together.
- 2 Spread the mixture evenly onto flat tin sheets or a baking sheet to a thickness of about a quarter of an inch.
- 3 Brown the cakes in a 350°F oven or under a broiler, turning once if necessary, until golden brown.
- 4 Remove from heat, spread with butter, cut into square slices, and serve immediately while very hot.
