  • 2 tablespoons cold milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • Butter for serving

Method

  1. 1 In a bowl, mix the boiled rice, cold milk, salt, and flour until a dough forms that holds together.
  2. 2 Spread the mixture evenly onto flat tin sheets or a baking sheet to a thickness of about a quarter of an inch.
  3. 3 Brown the cakes in a 350°F oven or under a broiler, turning once if necessary, until golden brown.
  4. 4 Remove from heat, spread with butter, cut into square slices, and serve immediately while very hot.
