Baked Rice And Meat Casserole
Ingredients
- 1 cup cold cooked meat, diced
- 1 cup boiled rice
- 1 cup stewed tomatoes
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Breadcrumbs
- Butter, cut into small pieces
Method
- 1 Combine the cold meat, boiled rice, and stewed tomatoes in a bowl.
- 2 Season the mixture highly with salt and pepper, then mix well.
- 3 Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and spread evenly.
- 4 Sprinkle breadcrumbs over the top and dot with small pieces of butter.
- 5 Bake in a moderate oven (350°F) until the top is golden brown.
