Baked Quinces With Cream
Ingredients
- 4-5 quinces
- Butter
- Sugar
- 1 cup water
- Cream
Method
- 1 Peel and core the quinces. Place a small piece of butter into the core of each fruit.
- 2 Sprinkle the quinces with sugar and pour 1 cup of water into the baking dish.
- 3 Cover the dish and bake for 2 hours, basting occasionally with the pan juices.
- 4 Serve cold with additional sugar and cream.
