Baked Quinces With Cream

Ingredients

  • 4-5 quinces
  • Butter
  • Sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • Cream

Method

  1. 1 Peel and core the quinces. Place a small piece of butter into the core of each fruit.
  2. 2 Sprinkle the quinces with sugar and pour 1 cup of water into the baking dish.
  3. 3 Cover the dish and bake for 2 hours, basting occasionally with the pan juices.
  4. 4 Serve cold with additional sugar and cream.
