Baked Quince Custard With Almonds
Ingredients
- 1 pint rich milk
- 4 eggs
- 1/8 tsp almond extract
- 2 oz powdered sugar
- Quince preserves
- Chopped almonds
Method
- 1 Preheat oven to 350°F. Whisk milk, eggs, almond extract, and powdered sugar until combined.
- 2 Spread a layer of quince preserves in the bottom of a fireproof dish.
- 3 Pour the custard mixture over the preserves.
- 4 Bake for 30 minutes or until set.
- 5 Top with heated quince preserves and chopped almonds. Serve hot.
