Baked Quince Custard With Almonds

Ingredients

  • 1 pint rich milk
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/8 tsp almond extract
  • 2 oz powdered sugar
  • Quince preserves
  • Chopped almonds

Method

  1. 1 Preheat oven to 350°F. Whisk milk, eggs, almond extract, and powdered sugar until combined.
  2. 2 Spread a layer of quince preserves in the bottom of a fireproof dish.
  3. 3 Pour the custard mixture over the preserves.
  4. 4 Bake for 30 minutes or until set.
  5. 5 Top with heated quince preserves and chopped almonds. Serve hot.
