Baked Prune Batter Pudding
Ingredients
- 8-10 well-cooked California plums with juice
- 2 oz fine wheatmeal
- 1/2 oz butter
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 egg
Method
- 1 Preheat oven to 350°F.
- 2 Make a batter by mixing milk, wheatmeal, and egg.
- 3 Melt butter and stir it into the batter.
- 4 Place prunes in a small pie dish.
- 5 Pour batter over prunes and bake until golden brown.
