Baked Potato And Meat Turnovers
Ingredients
- Mashed potatoes
- Flour
- Salt
- Baking powder
- Seasoned meat
- Milk for brushing
Method
- 1 Mix mashed potatoes with flour, salt, and baking powder (use ½ tsp baking powder per ¾ cup flour). Add just enough flour to roll out.
- 2 Roll the dough into a ½-inch thick sheet and cut into circles the size of a saucer.
- 3 Place a spoonful of seasoned meat in the center of each circle, fold over, and pinch the edges to seal.
- 4 Place on a greased baking sheet, brush with milk, and bake in a 425°F oven until brown.
