Baked Plum Custard Pudding

Ingredients

  • 2 cups stewed and stoned plums (or other fruit)
  • 1 pint milk
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 large cup fine breadcrumbs
  • sugar to taste
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 oz butter

Method

  1. 1 Mix breadcrumbs and fruit in a bowl.
  2. 2 Add melted butter, sugar, and cinnamon; stir to combine.
  3. 3 Beat eggs with milk, then mix into the fruit mixture.
  4. 4 Pour into a greased pie dish.
  5. 5 Bake until nicely browned.
