Baked Plum Custard Pudding
Ingredients
- 2 cups stewed and stoned plums (or other fruit)
- 1 pint milk
- 3 eggs
- 1 large cup fine breadcrumbs
- sugar to taste
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 oz butter
Method
- 1 Mix breadcrumbs and fruit in a bowl.
- 2 Add melted butter, sugar, and cinnamon; stir to combine.
- 3 Beat eggs with milk, then mix into the fruit mixture.
- 4 Pour into a greased pie dish.
- 5 Bake until nicely browned.
