Baked Perch With Tomato And Spices
Ingredients
- 1 pound perch fillets, fresh or frozen
- 1 cup tomato sauce
- 1 small onion
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 2 teaspoons chili powder
- 1 teaspoon oregano
- 1/8 teaspoon ground cumin
Method
- 1 Preheat oven to 350°F and lightly grease a baking dish with butter or margarine.
- 2 Separate the fish into 4 fillets or pieces and place them in the prepared baking dish.
- 3 Peel and slice the onion, then stir it together with the tomato sauce, garlic powder, chili powder, oregano, and cumin in a small bowl.
- 4 Pour the onion and spice mixture evenly over the fish pieces.
- 5 Bake for 10 to 20 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork.
