Baked Perch With Tomato And Spices

  • 1 pound perch fillets, fresh or frozen
  • 1 cup tomato sauce
  • 1 small onion
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 teaspoons chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground cumin

Method

  1. 1 Preheat oven to 350°F and lightly grease a baking dish with butter or margarine.
  2. 2 Separate the fish into 4 fillets or pieces and place them in the prepared baking dish.
  3. 3 Peel and slice the onion, then stir it together with the tomato sauce, garlic powder, chili powder, oregano, and cumin in a small bowl.
  4. 4 Pour the onion and spice mixture evenly over the fish pieces.
