Baked Pears With Nutmeg Syrup
Ingredients
- Pears, peeled and halved
- 1/2 cup syrup
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
Method
- 1 Peel pears and cut them in half. Place them in a baking dish.
- 2 Add 1/2 cup syrup, 1/2 cup water, and 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg to the dish.
- 3 Bake until pears are tender, basting frequently with the syrup.
