Baked Pears With Cranberries And Raisins
Ingredients
- 8 pears
- 1 cup cranberries
- ½ cup raisins
- 1 cup syrup
- ½ cup brown sugar
- 1 cup water
- ¼ teaspoon nutmeg
Method
- 1 Peel pears, cut in half, and remove stems and seeds.
- 2 Place pears cut-side up in a baking dish.
- 3 Sort, wash, and add cranberries, raisins, syrup, brown sugar, water, and nutmeg to the dish.
- 4 Bake in a slow oven (300°F) until pears are soft.
