Baked Pears With Butter And Lemon
Ingredients
- pears
- sugar
- butter
- lemon slices
- water
Method
- 1 Wash pears thoroughly, cut into halves, and remove the cores.
- 2 Place pears in a shallow pan. Fill the center holes with sugar.
- 3 Dot with butter and place a thin slice of lemon over each piece.
- 4 Pour a few spoonfuls of water into the pan.
- 5 Bake in the oven until the pears can be easily pierced with a fork.
- 6 Remove from oven and serve hot or cold.
