Baked Pears With Butter And Lemon

  • sugar
  • butter
  • lemon slices
  • water

Method

  1. 1 Wash pears thoroughly, cut into halves, and remove the cores.
  2. 2 Place pears in a shallow pan. Fill the center holes with sugar.
  3. 3 Dot with butter and place a thin slice of lemon over each piece.
  4. 4 Pour a few spoonfuls of water into the pan.
  5. 5 Bake in the oven until the pears can be easily pierced with a fork.
  6. 6 Remove from oven and serve hot or cold.
