Baked Parmesan Potatoes in Cream
Ingredients
- 2 lbs potatoes
- butter
- grated Parmesan cheese
- white stock
- 1 ½ cups cream
- pepper
- salt
Method
- 1 Boil potatoes in salted water for 15 minutes, then peel and slice them thinly.
- 2 Layer potatoes in a deep fireproof dish with a lid, adding melted butter, white stock, and grated Parmesan between layers.
- 3 Reduce cream by half, season with pepper, and pour over the potatoes.
- 4 Bake in a moderate oven (350°F) for 20 minutes. Serve hot.
