Baked Parmesan Potatoes in Cream

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs potatoes
  • butter
  • grated Parmesan cheese
  • white stock
  • 1 ½ cups cream
  • pepper
  • salt

Method

  1. 1 Boil potatoes in salted water for 15 minutes, then peel and slice them thinly.
  2. 2 Layer potatoes in a deep fireproof dish with a lid, adding melted butter, white stock, and grated Parmesan between layers.
  3. 3 Reduce cream by half, season with pepper, and pour over the potatoes.
  4. 4 Bake in a moderate oven (350°F) for 20 minutes. Serve hot.
