Baked Paprika Squash
Ingredients
- 1 small squash
- 1 tablespoon melted butter
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon paprika
- finely chopped parsley, for garnish
Method
- 1 Cut a slice from the top of the squash and remove the seeds and stringy fibers.
- 2 Add melted butter, salt, and paprika inside the squash.
- 3 Cover closely with the lid and bake in a slow oven (300°F) for about 30 minutes, or until tender.
- 4 Remove the lid, scoop out the pulp with a spoon, and pile it into a hot vegetable dish.
- 5 Garnish with finely chopped parsley and serve immediately.
