Baked Oysters With Cracker Crumbs
Ingredients
- 1 cup cracker crumbs
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 1/2 cup cream or strained oyster liquor
- 1 cup oysters, washed and drained
- Salt and pepper to taste
Method
- 1 Stir cracker crumbs into melted butter.
- 2 Heat cream or oyster liquor in a blazer.
- 3 Layer oysters, crumb mixture, salt, and pepper in the dish.
- 4 Cover and cook for nearly 10 minutes without stirring.
