Baked Oysters On Toast With Red Pepper

  • small square slices of bread
  • butter
  • oysters
  • red pepper
  • salt
  • lemon quarters

Method

  1. 1 Toast bread slices and butter one side. Place butter-side down in a casserole dish.
  2. 2 Cover the bread with oysters. Dot with butter and sprinkle with red pepper and salt.
  3. 3 Cover the dish and bake in a 400°F oven until the edges of the oysters curl.
  4. 4 Serve immediately with lemon quarters.
