Baked Oysters On Toast With Red Pepper
Ingredients
- small square slices of bread
- butter
- oysters
- red pepper
- salt
- lemon quarters
Method
- 1 Toast bread slices and butter one side. Place butter-side down in a casserole dish.
- 2 Cover the bread with oysters. Dot with butter and sprinkle with red pepper and salt.
- 3 Cover the dish and bake in a 400°F oven until the edges of the oysters curl.
- 4 Serve immediately with lemon quarters.
