Baked Oyster Puff Pastry Parcels
Ingredients
- Oysters, drained
- Lemon juice
- Puff pastry
- Egg white
- Butter
Method
- 1 Drain oysters and cover with a little lemon juice.
- 2 Roll out puff pastry and cut into 4-inch squares. Brush squares with egg white.
- 3 Place 2-3 oysters and a small piece of butter on each square.
- 4 Gather the four corners of the pastry together and secure with a toothpick, leaving the center open.
- 5 Bake in a moderate oven (350°F) until golden brown. Remove toothpicks and serve.
