Baked Onion And Egg Custard
Ingredients
- 3 tbsp butter
- 3 tbsp flour
- ½ cup milk
- salt and pepper
- 1 cup cooked onions
- 3 eggs
Method
- 1 Melt butter in a saucepan and stir in flour to make a roux.
- 2 Add milk, salt, and pepper, stirring until thickened.
- 3 Mix in the sieved cooked onions and beaten eggs.
- 4 Pour into a baking dish placed in a pan of hot water.
- 5 Bake at 350°F for 30 minutes.
