  • 3 tbsp flour
  • ½ cup milk
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 cup cooked onions
  • 3 eggs

Method

  1. 1 Melt butter in a saucepan and stir in flour to make a roux.
  2. 2 Add milk, salt, and pepper, stirring until thickened.
  3. 3 Mix in the sieved cooked onions and beaten eggs.
  4. 4 Pour into a baking dish placed in a pan of hot water.
  5. 5 Bake at 350°F for 30 minutes.
