Baked Oat Cakes

Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon butter
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 eggs
  • 2½ cups rolled oats

Method

  1. 1 Cream the butter, then add the sugar and eggs, mixing thoroughly.
  2. 2 Stir in the vanilla and baking powder, then mix in the oats until a stiff batter forms.
  3. 3 Mold the mixture into small cakes using a teaspoon and place them two inches apart in buttered pans.
  4. 4 Bake for ten minutes.
