Baked Mutton And Hominy Casserole
Ingredients
- 2 cups chopped cooked mutton
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- 1 teaspoon curry powder
- 2 cups hominy
- 1 cup peas or carrots
- ½ cup brown sauce or water
- Rice, hominy, or samp, cooked
Method
- 1 Combine the chopped mutton, hominy, peas or carrots, salt, pepper, curry powder, and brown sauce in a baking dish.
- 2 Cover the mixture with a layer of cooked rice, hominy, or samp.
- 3 Bake in a moderate oven (350°F) until the top is browned.
