Baked Molasses Pears
Ingredients
- hard baking pears
- ½ cup sugar
- ½ cup water
- 1 heaping tsp molasses
Method
- 1 Prick hard baking pears with a fork in several places and place them in a small stoneware jar.
- 2 Add ½ cup sugar, ½ cup water, and 1 heaping teaspoon of molasses to the jar.
- 3 Cover the jar tightly and bake in a moderate oven (350°F) all night.
