Baked Meat And Rice Puddings
Ingredients
- 3/4 cup chopped cold meat
- 1 cup cold boiled rice
- 1 small onion, grated
- 1 green pepper, chopped fine
- 2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp paprika
- 2 tsp garlic vinegar
- 1/2 tsp thyme
- 1 egg
- 5 tbsp cold stock, water, or gravy
Method
- 1 Combine chopped meat, rice, onion, pepper, salt, paprika, garlic vinegar, thyme, egg, and stock in a bowl. Mix thoroughly.
- 2 Grease and flour custard cups. Fill each cup slightly more than halfway with the mixture and smooth the top.
- 3 Place cups in a pan with water. Bake in a moderate oven (350°F) for 40 minutes.
- 4 Unmold the puddings and serve with cream or brown sauce.
