Baked Mashed Potatoes With Butter And Milk
Ingredients
- 1 dozen large potatoes
- 1 ounce fresh butter
- 3 tablespoons milk
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
Method
- 1 Wash and scrub potatoes until clean. Bake until done.
- 2 Prick potatoes with a fork to release steam. Wipe off charred skin.
- 3 Heat milk and butter in a saucepan.
- 4 Halve potatoes and squeeze them into the hot milk and butter mixture.
- 5 Add salt and pepper. Beat vigorously with a fork until smooth and lump-free.
- 6 Transfer to a hot dish, pile up, and mark with a fork. Heat in oven for 2-3 minutes.
