Baked Macaroni With Tomato And Cheese

Ingredients

  • 1/2 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 large cooked tomatoes, pureed
  • 1/4 lb macaroni
  • 3 tbsp grated Parmesan and Cheddar cheese, mixed

Method

  1. 1 Fry the chopped onion in butter until lightly colored.
  2. 2 Add the tomato puree to the onions and simmer briefly.
  3. 3 Boil the macaroni separately until tender, then drain well.
  4. 4 Combine the macaroni, tomato sauce, and cheese in a fireproof dish.
  5. 5 Cook gently in the oven for 15 minutes before serving.
