Baked Macaroni With Tomato And Cheese
Ingredients
- 1/2 onion, finely chopped
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 large cooked tomatoes, pureed
- 1/4 lb macaroni
- 3 tbsp grated Parmesan and Cheddar cheese, mixed
Method
- 1 Fry the chopped onion in butter until lightly colored.
- 2 Add the tomato puree to the onions and simmer briefly.
- 3 Boil the macaroni separately until tender, then drain well.
- 4 Combine the macaroni, tomato sauce, and cheese in a fireproof dish.
- 5 Cook gently in the oven for 15 minutes before serving.
