Baked Macaroni And Cheese With Mustard

Ingredients

  • 4 oz macaroni
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 2 tsp flour
  • 1/2 pint milk
  • 1 tsp mustard
  • 3 oz grated cheese
  • toast for garnish

Method

  1. 1 Boil macaroni in water for 30 minutes. Drain, cool, and chop.
  2. 2 Melt butter, whisk in flour, then add milk and mustard. Boil for one minute to thicken.
  3. 3 Mix the sauce with the macaroni and 3 oz of grated cheese. Place in a shallow dish.
  4. 4 Sprinkle top with remaining cheese. Bake until golden brown. Garnish with toast.
