Baked Macaroni And Cheese With Mustard
Ingredients
- 4 oz macaroni
- 1 tbsp butter
- 2 tsp flour
- 1/2 pint milk
- 1 tsp mustard
- 3 oz grated cheese
- toast for garnish
Method
- 1 Boil macaroni in water for 30 minutes. Drain, cool, and chop.
- 2 Melt butter, whisk in flour, then add milk and mustard. Boil for one minute to thicken.
- 3 Mix the sauce with the macaroni and 3 oz of grated cheese. Place in a shallow dish.
- 4 Sprinkle top with remaining cheese. Bake until golden brown. Garnish with toast.
