  • 2 cups lentils, soaked overnight
  • 2 small onions
  • 1 teaspoon thyme
  • 1 teaspoon savory
  • 1 teaspoon marjoram
  • 4 cloves
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • fat for dotting

Method

  1. 1 Boil soaked lentils with onions and herbs until soft.
  2. 2 Drain the lentils and transfer to a baking dish.
  3. 3 Season with salt and dot with fat.
  4. 4 Bake for 30 minutes.
