Baked Hominy Pudding
Ingredients
- 3 tablespoons flaked hominy
- 1 pint milk
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1-2 eggs (optional)
- flavoring essence (optional)
Method
- 1 Mix hominy with a little cold milk, then bring the rest of the milk to a boil.
- 2 Stir in the hominy and cook until the mixture thickens.
- 3 Add sugar and optional eggs or flavoring essence.
- 4 Pour into a greased pie dish and bake for about 30 minutes.
