Baked Halibut With Tomatoes

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs halibut
  • 1 cup tomatoes
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 2 tbsp Crisco
  • 3/4 tsp salt
  • 1/8 tsp pepper

Method

  1. 1 Clean the fish and season with salt and pepper.
  2. 2 Dredge the fish in flour.
  3. 3 Place the fish in a baking pan greased with Crisco.
  4. 4 Pour tomatoes over the fish and dot with additional Crisco.
  5. 5 Bake in a moderate oven (350°F), basting often.
