Baked Halibut With Lemon Parsley Sauce
Ingredients
- 2 halibut steaks
- 1 lemon, juiced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon minced parsley
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 tablespoon flour
- 2 cups boiling water
Method
- 1 Soak halibut steaks for 1 hour in lemon juice seasoned with salt, pepper, and minced parsley. Drain and pat dry.
- 2 In a saucepan, whisk butter, flour, and boiling water. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the sauce thickens.
- 3 Place halibut in a buttered baking dish. Pour the sauce over the fish and bake at 350°F for 20 minutes, basting occasionally.
- 4 Serve the halibut with the pan sauce or any preferred side sauce.
