Baked Green Corn Pudding
Ingredients
- 6 ears green corn
- 1 quart whole milk
- 2 large eggs
- Wheat flour
- Salt
- Butter, sugar, cream, or molasses for serving
Method
- 1 Cut corn through the grain and scrape kernels off the cob with the back of a knife.
- 2 Whisk milk, eggs, flour, and salt to form a smooth batter.
- 3 Stir in the corn and beat well until the mixture pours easily.
- 4 Grease a baking pan, pour in the mixture, and bake at 400°F for 30 minutes.
