Baked Garlic Parsley Tomatoes
Ingredients
- tomatoes, halved
- hot fat for frying
- sweet oil
- chopped garlic
- chopped parsley
- salt
- pepper
- cayenne
Method
- 1 Place tomato halves cut-side down in a frying pan with one-half inch of hot fat. Cook until slightly tender.
- 2 Carefully transfer tomatoes to a baking dish, placing them side by side.
- 3 Drizzle sweet oil around the tomatoes, then sprinkle with chopped garlic, parsley, salt, pepper, and cayenne.
- 4 Bake in a hot oven (425°F) for 15 to 20 minutes. Serve directly in the baking dish.
