Baked Fruit And Cinnamon Tortilla Rolls
Ingredients
- 2 (8-inch) flour tortillas
- 1 medium peach, pear, or apple
- 6 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 2 tablespoons packed brown sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- Milk for brushing
- Sugar for sprinkling (optional)
Method
- 1 Warm tortillas in microwave or oven to make them pliable.
- 2 Peel and chop the fruit into small pieces.
- 3 Place fruit on half of each tortilla.
- 4 Mix brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg; sprinkle over fruit.
- 5 Roll up tortillas starting from the fruit end.
- 6 Place on greased baking sheet, slash tops, brush with milk, and sprinkle with sugar.
- 7 Bake at 350°F for 8-12 minutes until lightly browned.
- 8 Serve warm or cool.
