Baked Eggs With Gruyère And Parsley
Ingredients
- 4 eggs
- 3 oz Gruyère cheese
- 1 oz butter
- 1 teaspoon finely chopped parsley
- Salt and pepper to taste
Method
- 1 Spread butter on a flat baking dish and lay very thin slices of Gruyère cheese on top.
- 2 Break the eggs onto the cheese slices, keeping the yolks whole.
- 3 Grate the remaining cheese and mix with parsley, then strew over the eggs.
- 4 Bake in a hot oven (425°F) for 5 to 7 minutes.
