Baked Eggs On Brown Butter Onions

Ingredients

  • 2 onions, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon vinegar
  • 6 fresh eggs
  • breadcrumbs
  • butter for dotting

Method

  1. 1 Fry sliced onions in butter until brown. Stir in vinegar.
  2. 2 Butter a platter and spread the fried onions over it.
  3. 3 Break six fresh eggs onto the onions. Sprinkle with crumbs and dot with butter.
  4. 4 Bake in a 425°F oven until the eggs are set.
