Baked Eggs On Brown Butter Onions
Ingredients
- 2 onions, sliced
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 tablespoon vinegar
- 6 fresh eggs
- breadcrumbs
- butter for dotting
Method
- 1 Fry sliced onions in butter until brown. Stir in vinegar.
- 2 Butter a platter and spread the fried onions over it.
- 3 Break six fresh eggs onto the onions. Sprinkle with crumbs and dot with butter.
- 4 Bake in a 425°F oven until the eggs are set.
