Baked Eggs Au Plat
Ingredients
- 4 eggs
- 2 oz butter
- Salt and pepper
Method
- 1 Preheat oven to 350°F. Place a heatproof dish in the oven to warm.
- 2 Add butter to the hot dish and let it melt.
- 3 Carefully crack the eggs into the dish.
- 4 Season with salt and pepper.
- 5 Bake until the whites are set but yolks are still soft.
- 6 Serve immediately in the same dish.
