Baked Eggs Au Gratin With Cheese
Ingredients
- 12 large eggs
- 1 tbsp butter
- 4 egg yolks
- ½ cup milk
- Grated cheese, to taste
- Bread crumbs, for topping
Method
- 1 Boil eggs until hard-boiled, then peel and slice them.
- 2 Arrange egg slices in circular rows in a deep baking dish.
- 3 Melt butter in a saucepan, then whisk in egg yolks, milk, and grated cheese.
- 4 Stir the sauce over heat until it thickens slightly.
- 5 Pour the sauce over the eggs, sprinkle with bread crumbs, and bake for 10 minutes.
