Baked Egg White Tea Cakes
Ingredients
- 3 cups flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 3 egg yolks
- 1 pt milk
- 3 egg whites
Method
- 1 Sift together flour and salt.
- 2 Beat egg yolks until light, add milk, and stir into dry ingredients.
- 3 Beat egg whites until stiff and dry.
- 4 Fold beaten whites into batter.
- 5 Pour into small buttered tins and bake in a very hot oven (425°F).
