Baked Egg White Custard
Ingredients
- 1 cup cream
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 4 egg whites, stiffly beaten
Method
- 1 Heat cream and sugar in a saucepan, bringing to a boil. Cook for 15 minutes.
- 2 Remove from heat and fold in the stiffly beaten egg whites.
- 3 Option A: Chill the mixture until cold. Option B: Pour into a baking dish, sprinkle with sugar, and bake until puffed and brown. Serve hot.
