Baked Egg Custard Souffle

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 6 egg yolks
  • 2 tsp butter
  • salt to taste
  • 6 egg whites

Method

  1. 1 Boil the milk in a saucepan.
  2. 2 Stir in the well-beaten egg yolks until the mixture thickens.
  3. 3 Remove from heat and stir in butter and salt.
  4. 4 Fold in the well-beaten egg whites.
  5. 5 Bake for 10 minutes in an oven heated to 350°F.
