Baked Egg Casserole

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon melted Crisco
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method

  1. 1 Beat eggs well, then add milk and beat again.
  2. 2 Mix cornstarch with water, then add to egg mixture along with melted Crisco and seasonings.
  3. 3 Pour into a greased fireproof dish and bake in a moderate oven (350°F) for 15 minutes.
  4. 4 Serve hot.
